What's the difference?

Hydroponic gardening makes use of nutrient-rich water rather than soil to grow plants. Aquaponics uses fish tanks to grow plants. Aquaponics is like having your own farm in your home.

Do I have enough space to plant a vegetable or fruit garden in my backyard?

If you don’t have a garden yet, you may wonder if there is enough room to start one. The answer is yes. A vegetable garden doesn't take up much space at all. You just need to plan. For example, you can build raised beds just 6 inches high. Or, you could use containers instead of raised beds. You'll still be able to get plenty of produce in any way.

How much light does a tree need?

It depends upon the type of plant. Some plants need 12 hours per day of direct sunlight. Others prefer 8 hours of indirect sunlight. Vegetables require at least 10 hours of direct sunlight per 24-hour period.
